This card used the Sun Burst Technique.

The sentiment was stamped on vellum and torn. It is held in place with half pearls. I was shooting for the Sun Burst to look like sun rays to go with the sentiment.

Color Challenge 13 on MFPSpeedyTV

Today's card was made for the MFPSpeedyTV Color Challenge.

I was asked to be the new Hostess. 

This week's challenge is Blue, Yellow and Green. I added in a die cut flourish in green to look like leaves.

I took a class at the scrapbook store on "Feminine Cards." I learned that you have to use lots of lace and ribbon on cards to make them feminine. Who knew? I thought my cards were fine before. I  learned how to use the embossing pad and rubber piece to add dimension to die cuts. Lots I didn't know.

OSA Challenge 261

This week's OSA Challenge card is a fun one! I usually stay far away from this type, but I love it!

I used the sunburst technique that I found here:

I changed it by starting in the center.

Stamp sets is called Birds of the Orient.  Colored with Sharpies.
