Oriental Sketch Challenge on MFPSpeedyTV!

It's week 2 of the Oriental Sketch challenge on MFPSpeedyTV.ning.com! This is my card for the challenge:
I love this little bird on the pussy willow branch. I used some scrapbook paper for the panels. I traded some empty jars for a huge box of scrapbook paper last weekend.

I put together a community Craft Materials/Tools Swap. We meet once a month at the church. Each person brings a box of items that they want to swap. You can swap out the entire box or you can swap piece by piece.  It's fun, and you never know what you are going to come home with! I got a glue gun, punches and a crimper a few months back! Other ladies brought in scissors, markers, gold flaking materials, stained glass tools, mosaic pieces, wood tools, old drills, leather kits, sewing materials, old glass milk jugs, glass blocks, baby food containers, half bottles of different glues, half cans of spray paint, skeins of yarn, sewing bags, knitting needles, paper cutters, ink pads, shredder, pasta machine and little pill bottles.

I was a bit stymied in my stamping about a year ago. I didn't have many tools. The Craft Swap helped get my creative juices going and gave me access to new to me tools. You may want to think about getting together with a few friends once in a while to try a craft materials/tools swap!
