Mark's Finest
We're wrapping up the week with Silly Shells! I love this shell. I stamped it three times and colored it in. I hated the first way I colored it but liked the second and thrid try! I decided to make two cards using the same color combinations.
*Thrifty Tip- If you have two items already colored and have out all your supplies make 2 cards! Why waste your time putting away your supplies and then dragging the back out again to make another card?

I decided to use the Sponged Tiles Technique for this card.
*Thrifty Tip-If you keep your eye out you can find kitchen sponges at discount stores. Family Dollar and Dollar General carry packages of them. You can find them at the dollar stores, too.
I wrote a tutorial on Sponged Tiles Technique HERE.

Please visit my blog often for Thrifty Stamping Tips!

Interesting backgrounds on both of these cards. And I certainly agree with your little tip about making two different cards using the same supplies!

Wonderful cards. I'll have to ck out the sponging technique. Makes sense to make 2 cards when you have all the supplies out. I like all things sea shell. Have a sea shell collection in my master bathroom. Wallpaper theme of master bathroom is beach/sand castles/sea shells.
