Hey Everybody! This is a new venture in conjunction with SpeedyTV. It's called: The Thrifty Stamper. I'm cheap, stingy, penny pinching, and all around thrifty. I'm gonna teach you how to be just like me!
Today's Thrifty Tip is Inexpensive Crafting Sponges.
You will need the following materials:
Cheapo Kitchen Sponge. (Bought 10 in a pack at dollar store)
Scissors (Got at a garage sale for 10 cents!

Use the scissors to cut the sponge into 10 pieces. This is the perfect size for me. You may be able to use a smaller size. I like the sponges with a scrubber on one side. They are stiffer and easier to handle.
Here's the super Thrifty part.
The sponge on the left was used and cut down 5 times. (Clean sponge on right not cut down.)
You can use the same sponge for 5 different colors of ink/paint! That's a Thrifty Tip!

Love it, Love it, Love it. I went out and bought me some sponges and spent 3.00 instead of ordering more for $11.00.
I need to go look in my closet but I believe I have some sponges I bought years ago to do crafts with....I won't have to spend a penny if I can find them! What an AWESOME tip!
